Parents at the home party
Ideas on inviting parents to the party when held at home.
When the birthday child is 4 and under, it is advantageous to invite the friends of the child and their parents to help supervise the children so the party stays in control and enjoyable for all.
When the child is 5 and older, it may be beneficial to invite only the child to the party. Not only will this give the parents a break, but it will make things easier for the birthday parents as well.
With the invitees parents not in attendance, the host or hostess will not have to serve as much food or feel obligated to entertain the parents.
It is best to clearly identify who is invited in the party invitation.
NOTE: There should be enough adults to adequately supervise the number of kids in attendance.
